PARENT ENABLING

The Parent Enabling Program by Sai Swayam Society focuses on strengthening the role of parents as active partners in their children's education and overall development. Recognizing that the home environment plays a crucial role in shaping a child’s learning journey, this program empowers parents—especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds—with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support their children's academic and emotional needs.

The program includes awareness sessions, counseling, and interactive workshops to educate parents on topics such as positive parenting, health and hygiene, nutrition, emotional support, school engagement, and the importance of regular attendance. Special efforts are made to reach illiterate or semi-literate parents, empowering them understand the value of education and how they can meaningfully contribute, even without formal schooling themselves.
